I. Electro-hydraulic actuator function overview & brief Introduction
1.Function introduction
The F4-Y-DA/HPU series actuator is a relatively high torque electro-hydraulic product developed to adapt to personalized and complex control of valves; The pumps, motors, accumulators, and hydraulic control components in the unit are all imported or high-quality domestic brand products. The energy storage reset single action function is generally equipped with a ESD valve, which can achieve a fast reset of the actuator through the energy storage device to close the valve FC (or FO) when power is cut off or ESD signal is received, with a maximum speed of 0.5S; The dual action fast opening and fast closing type can be equipped with a dual electric control solenoid valve, which can achieve quick opening and closing of the actuator in both directions under the energy storage oil pressure of the accumulator, and maintain the valve in its original position FL under power outage conditions; The intelligent adjustment type is equipped with a proportional or servo valve and PLC, and the system can adjust the valve opening degree arbitrarily based on a 4-20mA control signal, with a maximum accuracy of 0.1% to 0.2%. In addition, the organic combination of the above functional modules can also achieve more advanced complex control functions, such as intelligent regulation+ESD function, two-stage slow closing function, ESD+PST function, and so on. III. Hydraulic Working Principle

1. Product Feature:the accumulator can quickly release high pressure and large flow of hydraulic oil to achieve the fast opening and closing of the valve. In addition, by replacing different hydraulic function modules of the actuator, more advanced and complex control functions can be realized, such as intelligent adjustment +ESD function, two-stage speed&slow closing function and ESD+PST function, etc.
2. Intelligent Adjusting Valve Control: When the valve opening degree adjustment is required, the actuator is equipped with signal encoder and PLC. Under the control signal of 4 ~ 20mA, the actuator's 0° ~ 90° stroke positioning can be adjusted.
3. Automatic Pressure Holding System: F4-HPU/NXQ series electro-hydraulic actuators have automatic pressure holding system, and the power unit has the function of automatically supplementing pressure to the accumulator.
4. Three-Break State Valve Position: When "three-breaks (power off, signal off, pressure off)” occur in the process of hydraulic unit operation, then the actuator implements FL, FC or FO as required.
5. Valve Jammed Alarm: When the actuator gets the signal of open /close valve, but the valve is jammed and cannot be fully opened/closed, the electric motor of the hydraulic unit is cut off by the preset time relay in the electric control cabinet and simultaneously sends out the valve jammed alarm.
6. Emergency Operation: The actuator is equipped with emergency operation interface, in the case of "three-breaks", the valve actuator can be opened / closed by portable emergency hand pump.

Ⅵ. Remarks
1. Before installation, the hydraulic components such as cylinders, oil pipes and joints must be cleaned without any impurities.
2. The viscosity of hydraulic oil should be 15~68CST. It should be clean and free of impurities. It is recommended to use 32# hydraulic oil.
3. The hydraulic power unit is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation.
4. After starting the operating system for the first time, immediately check whether the oil in the oil tank is sufficient.
5. After the first 100 hours of use, the hydraulic oil should be replaced. Later, the hydraulic oil should be replaced every 3000 hours of use.
